Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day when the last enslaved African Americans were freed. It stands as a meaningful reminder of emancipation, resilience, and the continued pursuit of racial justice in our country.
We invite our community to use this day to honor Black history and culture, reflect on our shared past, and reaffirm our commitment to advancing equity and justice for all.
